Kirka de Jorio
Kirka de Jorio was born in Naples, Italy.
After classical studies she graduated in philosophy and history of art . This early artistic experience and in time, sharing initiatives with other artists, including the Virus Group, gave rise to the opening of the studio as a regular form of more direct involvement between the audience and artist.
In recent years, her paintings have also had a direct experience with the theatre of experimental research, in which encounters with thinkers and directors leave a strong impression on her work. After 1998 and following a series of exhibitions abroad, her work is now well known and appreciated in many European countries.
Currently her professional activity alternates between the study of Naples and Amalfi, Italy.
